Since 2019, Sharpen has partnered with Edward Via College of Osteopathic Medicine (VCOM) Carolinas campus to develop medical student-focused content and customize a version of the Sharpen service called Mindful MEDS.In 2022, VCOM expanded Mindful MEDS to all four campuses.
Key findings from our research with VCOM include:
improving mental health literacy and emotional wellbeing among medical student participants (n=215)
interest in sharing Sharpen with patients and their families while on pediatric rotations
These findings will be presented at the AACOM annual conference in Baltimore!
